SCSI II (DMA) Cards

SCSI II cards are for those who want high transfer rates, but not necessarily when doing certain multi-tasking operations, ie movie grabbing. Up to now the highest quality Replay movies are captured with a Morley cached card despite the higher transfer rates recorded from speed test programs for SCSI 2 cards. Please note that the above statements MAY not necessarily apply to a computer fitted with a StrongARM, we will amend this statement when we have carried out tests.
(Realistic Hard disc transfer rates range from 3-4Mb/s depending on the type of drive used.)
