General

Desktop Projects Ltd are a Linux and Acorn RiscOS computer specialist located in Hyde in the northwest of England. We were established in 1991 and serve the needs of AcornRiscOS users around the world whether they be consumers, educational establishements or businesses. We also specialise in Linux systems, particularly Internet/Intranet Servers, which prove incredibly reliable and more importantly economical.

Policy Statement

It has always been Desktop Projects Ltd policy to provide sound and reliable advice and also to sell the best products at the lowest price without compromise. That means that we only deal with well known branded products obtained from reputable suppliers who can provide the same service and technical support that you would expect of us. We do not scour the country for the cheapest possible source of supply just to be able to sell at the cheapest price only to find that the supplier disappears over night! Consequently, we may not be the cheapest but we are sure that you will be happy with any product that we provide. We only sell products that we would be prepared to purchase ourselves personally.

Prices & manufacturers specifications subject to change without notification. Goods offered subject to being available and are not offered on a trial basis. There is a restocking fee on non-defective returns. Please contact us before returning any goods. Official orders are welcome from government bodies, educational institutions for orders exceeding £30. Cheque with order otherwise. See also Ordering Information
